Nikhilesh Tayal is an entrepreneur, educator and tech author.

An IIT Kharagpur alumnus and a Google Developer Expert (AI), he works at the intersection of AI systems, engineering, and leadership.

He is the founder of AI ML etc., an education platform designed for senior IT professionals to understand and apply AI in real-world systems.

He has created a course on Agentic RAG in partnership with LinkedIn Learning and is the author of book – AI Agents Without Jargon.

He has also spoken at 70+ tech events across the globe on AI, LLM, Agentic AI, AI security and Quantum Computing

His contributions to education have been formally recognised, including a recent felicitation by the Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

Why did I build an exclusive AI course for senior IT professionals?

I’ve been teaching in different forms since 2005, from Maths to school students, to coding to engineering students, and later Digital Marketing to working professionals.

Over the years, one thing became clear to me: good teaching is less about content, and more about how people think.

When I started learning AI myself, through well-known courses and self-study – I realised that many concepts were being taught in a way that didn’t work well for experienced professionals.

The material was too detached from the industry and assumed that everyone wanted to start from mathematical theory.

As I spoke at tech forums, I noticed a pattern in the questions I received from senior professionals:

Can AI be learned without going deep into maths?
How long does it realistically take?
What is actually relevant for someone building or leading systems?

I looked for programs that addressed these questions well and couldn’t find any that truly did.

That gap is what led me to build a focused, continuously evolving course designed for professionals who want to apply AI in real systems, make informed decisions, and lead AI initiatives.
